As one who suffers from chronic “paralysis by analysis” I found this post pretty encouraging. Examples of those who’ve taken responsibility for their own lives are good to read for those like myself who’ll find themselves setting their own course instead of offering navigational suggestions to the captain of someone else’s ship. Thanks for this post. My own story is kind of a twist on this, in that I left a conventional law firm job to start my own business around fifteen months ago, and thus far haven’t made nearly as much money as I used to make in my old job, but still I’ve had an inner peace that’s been surprising and I plan to keep plugging away.
